Be Sweet Café & Bakeshop was established in 2015 by Carrie Litz and is an independent bakery and coffee shop offering beverages, baked goods, and breakfast & lunch items.
The founder had two visions in mind, when she started the venture: to be sweet to people through food and to maintain and encourage the inspirational mantra of kindness, compassion, happiness, and individual expression. She wanted to create a fun, bright and cheery shop serving amazing food and drinks, but more importantly to provide a positive, happy experience for its patrons to make everyone feel welcome and at home.
On August 1, 2024 two crazy ladies, Ewa Nowak and Diane Brown, purchased the business with the intention of elevating the food and hospitality experience started by the founder.
